Horsepower

In Horsepower, I combine two techniques to contrast two forms of power.

The horse, rendered in pen, represents natural, raw power: instinctive, real, and unfiltered.

Beside the horse appears a Ferrari, painted in paint. This symbolizes how humans try to imitate and amplify that same power through technology and speed.

The choice of pen and paint is deliberate.

Pen stands for reality, precision, and control. Paint allows for emotion, movement, and expression. By placing both techniques side by side, a tension is created between nature and artificiality.
